Prevention is better ….

I am a person who many would say an over preparer… prepare for a shitstorm type of person.

Maybe its due to working in retail for 99 % of my life. Always over prepare and stay ahead of the game has been my theory. Prevent the problems if you can. I can remember my days back at the Golden Arches and be the manager on open everyday and prepared for 2 coaches to pull up at 6am… Didnt happen often but hell i was ready πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Thats how i like to live my life. I dont like the ‘oh she will be right’ that stresses me out. I am planned and prepped like you wouldnt believe.

This leads me into why i chose the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) https://nbcf.org.au/

They are Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public. Below is there mission ⬇⬇⬇ and for me i would rather prevent than treat… Just totally my opinion on that.

“Our mission is simple: stop deaths from breast cancer. How? By identifying, funding and championingΒ world-class researchΒ -research that will help us detect tumours earlier, improve treatment outcomes, and ultimately –save lives.

Since NBCF’s inception in 1994, the five-year survival rates for breast cancer has increased from 76% to 91%. It’s proof our strategy is working. “

I live in hope that in my lifetime i will see a cure for breast cancer or better yet prevent it from happening to anyone. Thats why i chose the NBCF to be my charity where ALL the profits from the Limited Edition KLB Equine / Breast Cancer Awareness Trucker Caps & Coolers will go to fund research into PREVENTING breast cancer.

As of 8th October 2021 i have done the first deposit of funds raised to my page,

54 Trucker Caps & 3 Coolers = $1393.50 dontated so far πŸ’—πŸŽ€πŸ’—πŸŽ€
