Getting my BC diagnosis in December 18 was the biggest most scariest thing I have ever had happen…
What I have learnt in the last 6 months is that not everyone who you were friends with before will be there for you. I get it’s a fucking scary thing been told you have cancer and people don’t know how to react. But geez in this day and age with social media text messages, Facebook message you would think it would be easy to keep in contact. I’ve lost some friends that I’ve been there for before this shitty thing happened to me and at the time made me sad & angry. But their loss I reckon 🤷♀️
On the other hand I have some amazing friends who have been there for me the whole way. Some who I was extremely close with before and some who I was distant friends who I have become closer. These people you have no idea how much I appreciate 🥰🥰 all the messages, offers of help to drive me to appointments, fundraising, helping with my polox commitments and also helping me promote my online business KLB Equine and Miss Kayellebee Photography.
