So after feeling fine for last few days and still managing to go to work my body has decided it wasn’t having a bar of that.
My temperature spiked last night and off I went to ED at Warialda and they promptly put some IV antibiotics in and called in ambulance to transport me to Tamworth. As my temp keep going up and down. You’ve got to love small country hospitals and doctors who don’t mess around. Especially when you had your bloods come back earlier in the day telling you your Neutrophilis count was extremely low and you were high risk of infection.
Let’s just say riding in the back of those ambos is not comfortable especially on that road from Warialda.. it’s a good thing I was strapped in at times.
After arriving to TBH at midnight the awesome nurses tried to get more blood and ran xrays to make sure i didn’t have a chest infection. Only a few hours sleep in between the nurses taking me OBS every hour and keeping a close eye on my temp.
This morning I was shifted to the ward and you know your special when you get your own room… nah not really but sounded good. It’s more to prevent me getting an infection whilst I’m here than been special.
I’ll most likely spend a few days at hotel TBH π©ββοΈ so they can figure out why my temp is spiking. Although nurse Kristy has informed them I believe it my shitty teeth giving me all the grief and the zillions mouth ulcers I have. Hopefully all test results come back this morning and we have a plan of action
