Working on a new me πŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’šπŸ’ͺ

For as long as I can remember I drank Coke by the litre. It used to wake me up on those 5am Open shifts back in the Maccas days. Then would help me get through the rest of the day. I am not sure how much I would consume of the bottled Coke along with the post mix Coke from work back in those days. I’m too scared to think about it …

Drinking the amount of Coke I did destroyed my teeth and the way they are going now I will need falsies before I’m 40 😏 Then the weight it piled on me was huge as well. I haven’t been a slim supermodel by any means but I went up from a 12 to 16 quickly. Then I reached a weight that I was not happy with at all, the heaviest I had been in my entire life. Β I decided I needed Β to kick the Coke habit once and for all..
So September 2015 was the month that was the last time I had a drink of Coke. My original plan was to loose a few kg so I could show my ASH mate Bree in 2016 but sadly she had a paddock accident and was PTS. I decided to continue on and be Coke free..

I managed all of 2016 to continue to be Coke free and managed to stay steady at my weight. Then August 2016 I was tired, exhausted and trying to juggle a zillion things at once which seemed to be happening more often with the start up of my Miss Kayellebee Photography…

So i changed my morning routine and added some vitamins into my diet and my exhaustion didn’t seem as bad. Β I was beating my alarm up in the mornings, had more energy to get through the day, coming home and riding 2/3 horses every afternoon after work. My mood had changed and I dealt with stress a lot better than previously… I felt good within myself and the weight loss was an added bonus too πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

Super keen for the polox season to start as I know I’ll still have the energy after comingΒ  home from work to exercise the polox horses 🐴

My advice to anyone trying to break a habit is to take one day at a time and slowly change your diet and habits. That way it’s not a big sudden change and you are more likely to continue and break the bad habits. Well that’s what i did and i am glad that i made the change. I feel a lot better within my self. Lots more energy and i am enjoying riding my horses more often instead of them been another chore i had to do ….
