Oh my how fast the year has gone, its April already….. Polocrosse season has already kicked off with our NWP Zone Coaching Weekend. It was well attended and i think everyone had a great time. Great coaches were in attendance over the weekend. My ponies stayed at home as the paperwork generally takes up most of the days. I am the secretary of our Zone polocrosse as well as my club Narrabri. Pretty sure im the most crazy person there is …This keeps me busy most of the time but i love it 🙂
Another crazy idea we had this year was Narrabri Polocrosse would run a second multi-horse carnival…. 3 weeks after the coaching weekend … OMG we are crazy ….
But all good the carnival was a success and we had 20 teams attend. The weekend ran smoothly and gave a few players an opportunity to have a hit out before the Polocrosse Nationals been held at Albury.
At the moment i am 80% packed ready to head to Albury Nationals on Sunday to watch some awesome games of polocrosse. I’ve got the camera packed, sadly the new camera has not arrived but the new lens already has had a run. I took the new lens to NSW Pony Club State Sporting last Sunday to get used to it. Wow was all i can say. The pictures are so much clearer, now i just need to work out the manual settings abit more. More practice is needed and hopefully i get some down at Albury of the Narrabri players who are representing NSW.
The ponies have come back into work and it’s been a struggle with Cruise and his hooves… He tends to throw his shoes and pretend to be lame and always on the verge of foundering. But Santenor is going great guns after having last season off. He might find himself no 1 this season.
I have also been very busy with Miss Kayellebee Photography. Getting a few events in already. Arena sorting, Bingara Show, Moree Showjumping and State Sporting. I really enjoy taking the photos then coming home to review them. I’ve got a few more events in April to attend to which im excited about.
